Coming Spring 2026

“Maybe I’m a Nobody” is a raw and intimate documentary set in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio. The story follows a few resilient creatives who never made it big, yet never gave up. Through the lens of music and street art, the film tells the stories of local artists, emcees, and graffiti writers who dared to dream of fame but found something more meaningful instead: purpose, community, and self-expression. While fame and fortune may have eluded them, their spirit remains unbroken. The documentary dives deep into what it means to create for the sake of expression, not recognition, to write rhymes no label hears, to paint murals, and to find peace in progress rather than profit. These artists turn concrete walls and basement studios into altars of resilience, letting their art scream, whisper, and breathe truth into a world that often overlooks them. Featuring atmospheric cinematography, underground beats, and candid conversations. “Maybe I’m a Nobody” is not just a film, it’s a love letter to the unheard, a testament to those who keep going.
“We all have a story, I just want to share a little of ours with the rest of the world.” Asjaimah Jacobs, the film’s producer and creator.
